03.05.2016 - On 29 april, the committee on Foreign Trade (COMEX) adopted resolution 6-2016, by which it is delayed year the dismantling of tariff lasobretasa imposed by balance-of-payments problems. Although, since january 2016, had been dismantled the sobretasas of 5 per cent, sobretasas 15-25% and 40 per cent will be removed from april, may and june 2017 (exactly one year later than committed), owing to the “ persistence in the external challenges that led to the imposition of safeguards ”.
