Angola liberalizes private investment, equates local and foreign investment
The angolan parliament has adopted the new law 10/18, which entered into force on 17 may 2018 of private investment to liberalise investments in the country and paves the different treatment of corporate, regulatory and taxation between companies and local and foreign investors. Reduces local preferences in strategic sectors and regulated and eliminates the requirement that in each project would have a local aprticipación minimum of 35 per cent. Also uniformiza the benefits and tax incentives in the special development areas.
