06.10.2016 - The ministry of foreign trade of Ecuador confirmed that the Resolution 50-2015 adopted by the council of Foreign Trade (COMEX) of 30 december 2015, which established global unacuota for the import of vehicles in force until 31 december 2016, cease to have effect on 1 january 2017. In this way, since the beginning of 2017, there will be no quantitative import restrictions on the import of vehicles in Ecuador.
