In december 2014 the mexican government has issued a plan of restrictive measures on imports of textiles and clothing, theoretical with the aim of protecting the local industry of unfair competition from asian products. These measures will include: register of importers, notice before importing, potential importers from audits and minimum reference price. It is expected publication at the beginning of 2015.
