20.09.2016 - On 6 september last year 2016, the ministry of foreign trade of Ecuador adopted a resolution which reduces tariff surcharge of 40 to 35 percentage points, from 25 to 15 percentage points, and maintains the surcharge of 15 percentage points, from 26 october 2016.

The tariff sobretasas by balance-of-payments problems were enacted in march 2015 tariff items for 2,961 fee of between 5 and 45 percentage points.
