ThroughCircular no. 29 of 24 april 2020,Diário Oficial da união (DOU) of 27 aprilthe special secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) and international affairs of the ministry of economy has launched four public consultations in the field of defence trade:

The first aims to collect suggestions to change draft Portaria which provides for the pre-initiation of application (pre-pleito) in the field of original research, reviews and other trade defence procedures provided for in the decreesNo. 8,058, on 26 july 2013,1,751, of 19 december 1995and1,488, from 11 may 1995in thePortaria SECEX no. 41 of 27 july 2018, and in trade agreements in force in Brazil.

The suggestions that want to make should be sent to the secretariat of Commercial Defence and public interest (SDCOM), via emailprepleito@mdic.gov.brwith the subject matter: "Public Consultation - Pré-pleito".

The second consultation admits suggestions to change draft Portaria establishing parameters for price analyses likely of dumped imports and its potential impact on prices of proceeds similar in the brazilian internal market,section III of the item 104 8,058 Decree 2013.

The fourth and final consultation modifies the Portaria that prescribes the criteria for the extension of the anti-dumping duty in a less than the law in force in the case of exports from the country to which it applied anti-dumping action or that there was only exports in quantities not representative during the review period, in accordance with theNº 3 y 4 del art. 107 del Decreto N ° 8.058, de 2013.

In all suggestions, is required to facilitate the name of the proponent, address and telephone number, as well as any information on agencies, entities or companies that represents a worker anonymous send suggestions.
